At the August 24th lunch meeting, the Club
- Heard a presentation by Mona Koh and Morgan Guenther on the East Bay Regional Park District's Healthy Parks Healthy People program.
- Received an update on the status of the Club's former Rotary Exchange students from Afghanistan and efforts to assist them and their families.
- Approved appointments to the Castro Valley Rotary Club Endowment Board and elected 2021-2022 officers.
- Had a thank you note read from one of the Club's 2021 scholarship recipients.
- Recognized Rotarians of the Month for July and August.
- Heard updates on the Castro Valley Restaurant Walk, Club BBQ, and Club Mixer.
- Received information on the Breathing for Life (BFL) dedication trip to Ethiopia.
