RIP Richard "Dick" Short

This morning, January 25, 2014, a great Christian leader and gentleman went to Heaven when Mr. Richard "Dick" Short passed away after a recent fall. He was loved by so many at Redwood Christian Schools where he served on the RCS Board of Directors for more than 35 years (almost 25 as Chairman of the Board). He worshiped his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at Fairhaven Bible Chapel in San Leandro and later at Valley Bible Chapel in Pleasanton. He was also an avid member of the Castro Valley Rotary Club, serving as its President in 2007-08.

His life will be celebrated Friday, January 31, at 11:00 AM at Redwood Chapel Community Church, 19300 Redwood Road, Castro Valley CA 94546. MAP IT.  Our loss is truly Heaven's gain.
