PROGRAM - March program chair Jim Negri introduced today’s program: Sharon Travers, Assistant Principal at the CV Adult School speaking on Adult Literacy.   At the CV Adult School, more than one hundred adults with disabilities are served.  This is critical as while other districts have closed their Adult School programs, we are blessed by a School Board (Board President John Barbieri is a CV Rotarian) and Superintendent Jim Negri (also a CV Rotarian) have been able to make this program work for us due to the commitment of the entire Board and Senior Administration.  The program also serves more than five hundred ESL (English as a Second Language) students.  Sharon shared many of the programs offered focusing on Adult Basics Education, High School Diploma and GED Test and Citizenship classes.
