Building for the Future: Castro Valley Unified School District Facility Updates & Vision

Sharon Trieu-Quince, Director of Facilities for the Castro Valley Unified School District (CVUSD), spoke to the Rotary Club of Castro Valley on September 2 regarding the District’s recent and ongoing facility improvements.  She highlighted the successful projects completed through Measure G, shared updates on current construction initiatives, and discussed the district’s vision for the future, including plans to update the Facilities Master Plan and considerations for a potential future bond. Trieu-Quince is a licensed architect and UC Berkeley graduate with over 20 years of experience who was originally hired by the District to oversee Measure G, the $123M voter-approved bond and also manages state-funded projects while guiding long-range facilities planning to support the District.  Other District administrators answered questions regarding facilities and other issues.
