Lorien has been the Executive Director at Bay Are Clean Water Agencies since 2020 and Regulatory Program Manager since 2016.
Lorien received her PhD in Environmental/Environmental Health Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley and her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Toronto, Univestroy College.
The per-and poly-fluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) are a group of chemicals used to make fluoropolymer coatings and products that resist heat, oil, stains, grease, and water. Fluoropolymer coatings can be in a variety of products.
