Carol Tan, Owner of Akemi Sushi at the Castro Valley Marketplace As part of the series of speakers on local businesses and organizations, Gary Bosley introduced Carol Tan, owner of Akemi Sushi in the Castro Valley Marketplace.  Carol described how she came from China and began working in a sushi restaurant, which led to her opening several East Bay restaurants with her family:  Jen Yi in Point Richmond, Akemi Restaurant in Berkeley, Kakui Sushi in Montclair, and Aozora Japanese Restaurant in Danville.  There were several testimonials from Club members regarding the quality of the food.  Be sure to visit Akemi Sushi.
