“Thurgood Marshall Regional Park – Home of the Port Chicago 50”

The East Bay Regional Park District is working to establish a new Regional Park on 2,540 acres of the former Concord Naval Weapons Station. In June, the Park District Board of Directors voted to name this new park “Thurgood Marshall Regional Park – Home of the Port Chicago 50”. Brian Holt, Chief of Planning, will present on the park’s history, the vision for the future park, and the connection to Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall.   More info at https://www.ebparks.org/parks/concord_hills/
