President Dr. Heidi brought down the gavel for the eighth time of her Presidential Year at Don Jose’s in Castro Valley, and Cliff Sherwood was asked to lead us in the Pledge of Allegiance.

RON LAZER REPORTED UPDATE ON COANIQUEM 
COANIQUEM Burned Children Foundation is COANIQUEM BCF and is a U.S.-based charitable foundation with the purpose of aiding the children of the world who suffer from burns, without distinction as to nationality, race, sex, origin, or religious belief. Activities that we support include: financing the integral treatment of children, involving complete physical, psychological, social and spiritual rehabilitation; causing or providing scientific and technical research and professional training in related matters; conducting educational campaigns to prevent childhood burns; developing understanding and tolerance of those who have suffered burns. Ron reported that all operating costs are donated . . . $1.1M so far!

Ken is a retired obstetrician-gynecologist who spent the majority of his career on Cape Cod in Massachusetts.  
He’s proud to say that he delivered over 4000 babies taking care of more than 40,000 women during his time in practice. He was a Rotarian in Hilton Head and is now considering Cupertino Rotary.  Today he is the California Congressional District -17 Volunteer Fair Tax Director and lives in Sunnyvale. 
He asked all present if they had watched the movies “America 2016” or “2016: Obama's America” . . 
Dr. Smith presented a challenge for all in attendance presenting thought-provoking information challenging the existence of the IRS . . .

LOOKING FOR THE MOLAR WITH THE GOLD GLITTER FILLING DONE “JUST FOR US” BY DR. HEIDI - With the $91 and 10 molars in the bag, Ken Smith reached into the ticket container and pulled out Ben Gurule’s ticket.  Then Ben reached into the bag searching for the white molar free from decay with golden sprinkles and won . . . $91 for pulling golden tooth free of decay but lacking golden sprinkles!  Had Ben pulled out a decayed tooth, he would have had to pay $5.00!
