PROGRAM - Our 15th program of President Dr. Heidi’s year is JB Walker, Franklin Templeton, “Capital Markets and Interest Rates, What you need to know.”  He is a Senior Advisor Consultant at Franklin Templeton Investments serving the San Francisco Bay Area.  Mr. Walker shared what was going on in the Capital Markets and what drives interest rates.  He talked about Stocks and Bonds that Stocks are designed to go up when interest rates go up.  It is important to remember that all investments involve risks, including possible loss of principal. Stock prices fluctuate, sometimes rapidly and dramatically, due to factors affecting individual companies, particular industries or sectors, or general market conditions.
